Important- Coronavirus Update

Amid the growing concerns of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Canada we would like to remind you that our top priority is to provide everyone the best possible products and services, as well as to ensure the health and safety of our customers, employees and our community.

We want to take this opportunity to let you know of the policies and procedures we are putting in place surrounding the virus:

  • Monitoring the situation by following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
  • Limiting travel and event attendance and implementing quarantine measures for our staff
  • Increasing the frequency and extent of our cleaning practices, such as additional wipe downs of all surfaces including our training centers, offices and warehouses
  • Providing necessary resources to our guests and employees including hand sanitizers, extra soap and paper towels in the restrooms

We also wanted to address some questions you may have regarding PreGel products and the process of ordering them:

Q: Can we still pick up products at PreGel offices?
A: No, pick up at both our Toronto, ON and Vancouver, BC locations are restricted until further notice.

Q: Is there or will there be a shortage of PreGel products?
A: As of today, PreGel production managers in our Italy headquarters have confirmed that all products were being manufactured and shipped as usual.

Q: Are PreGel products/packaging being affected by the virus?
A: From what we know of the situation currently, PreGel products are not being affected by the Coronavirus.In regards to items being shipped from around the world, Patricia A. Stinchfield, vice president of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) stated that the virus would not survive a trip from oversees. She adds “Outside the body, we believe this virus only survives on [an] object minutes to an hour or so. As always after handling things, wash your hands before touching your eyes, nose or mouth.”

Q: Can products be airfreighted from PreGel Italy?
A: No. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to airfreight our merchandise until further notice. We would also like to reassure you of our commitment to protect our community, customers, employees and products by:
